Tryouts Are Coming Up for the 2025 Season!
We're excited to announce tryouts for our 2025 basketball teams! This season, we’ll be offering a Grade 11 Team and a Grade 12/13 Team, competing in prestigious events like North Pole Hoops, the Coalition League, and USA Live Period Tournaments.

Registration for tryouts is now open: Tryouts are free, but advance registration is required to secure your spot. Fees and additional details will be shared at the first session. Tryouts kick off this December, with teams officially starting in January.
Important 2025 Season Information for Grade 11, 12, and 13 Teams
Eligibility:
Grade 11 Team: Players born in 2008
Grade 12/13 Team: Players born in 2007 or earlier
Program Overview:
Our teams will practice a minimum of twice per week and compete in league play including North Pole Hoops and Coalition League. In addition, teams will participate in at least three tournaments, including U.S. Live period tournaments and our own hosted event. Families will play an integral role in assisting with the tournament we host. The season runs from January to the end of July 2025.

Tryout Information:
Tryouts will take place at Saunders Secondary School on the following dates:
Grade 12/13 Team: December 9th and December 19th from 8:30–10:00 PM
Grade 11 Team: December 16th from 8:30–10:00 PM and December 19th from 6:30–8:00 PM
Tryouts are free, but advance registration is required.
Fees and Uniforms:
Team Fees: Estimated between $1,200 and $1,500 per player, depending on league and tournament participation. Final costs will be determined once the team is finalized. Fees are due upon selection of the team. However we offer fundraising opportunities for players and parents, providing a chance to offset and potentially recoup the cost of their fees though active participation.
Uniforms: Players must purchase a uniform the approximate cost is $140. Players keep their uniforms.
Payment Information:
Following tryouts, there will be a mandatory parent meeting in January for all players and at least one parent/guardian. Fees are due at this meeting. If full payment cannot be made, payment arrangements must be discussed with the coaches in advance, and post-dated cheques will be required. Any returned NSF cheques will incur additional fees.
Practice Schedule:
Teams will practice a minimum of twice per week. Detailed schedules will be provided after team formation.
